This course introduces the student to Open Source Server Side Scripting. The student will utilize the PHP scripting language to develop dynamic web applications, and connect to the MySQL database. The course also covers the development and design of the MySQL database.
Course Objectives
- The student will demonstrate knowledge of fundamental programming principles
- utilize PHP to develop dynamic server-side web applications
- design and develop a MySQL database
- utilize PHP and MySQL to store and retrieve user information in a database
- create cookies and sessions
